Ibogaine: Give Yourself or Your Loved One An Amazing Opportunity to Stop Addiction and Become Mentally, Physically and Emotionally Well.

Ibogaine drug treatment is the most (effective, altruistic) way for addicts to detox. We are currently performing our own study, but it is our observation that Ibogaine patients experience a 60-80% success rate within the first 6 months. This means that in addition to leaving our facility physically clean, more than 3 out of 4 people in the Ibogaine program remain clean post-treatment. This far exceeds the success rate of traditional 12-step programs and other alternative methods of drug rehabilitation. Our victories are the direct result of the power of Ibogaine and our understanding of addiction. This includes understanding the different treatment modality’s that have been proven to be successful and combining them with Ibogaine treatment.

Our Ibogaine Addiction Treatment Program

A New Beginning Ibogaine Treatment program does not consider people with substance abuse problems to be “addicts”. We prefer to treat them as “patients”, who are adjusting to living without drugs or alcohol. Empowering patients to get back into the swing of life is the purpose of our  Ibogaine addiction treatment program. We make it our mission to give our patients the tools necessary to live addiction-free lives, conscientious of their own principles, so they may give back to society.

It takes more than being physically clean from drugs to be clean from addiction. Ibogaine is NOT a magic bullet.

A New Beginning Ibogaine Treatment Center knows that lasting results in the fight against substance abuse can only be obtained through education after Ibogaine treatment.

Ibogaine TreatmentHow To Solve Problems After Ibogaine

A New Beginning knows that addiction robs patients of important problem-solving skills.  We will assist in allowing patients to rediscover their power to deal with uncomfortable situations, conversations, and emotions. THIS is really about THAT. It is important to understand that substance abuse is the outward result of an addiction to an inward feeling, such as numbness or excitement. Like many other addictions, overeating, sex, gambling, etc., drugs and alcohol provide a temporary escape from the unpleasantries of life.  This is why substance abusers relapse, or switch to a different drug, after separating themselves from their addiction. Our treatment targets more than just the substance itself because we believe that total recovery and freedom from addiction blooms from the inside out. Other signs of addiction:

  1. Neglecting obligations, like finances, education, employment, etc. “I’ll worry about it next week.”
  2. Withdrawal. “I’m just going to ignore them until they let it go.”
  3. Angry or violent responses. “Get away from me!”
  4. Dishonesty. “They’re prescription pills.”
  5. Refusing to discuss abrasive topics. “Let’s talk about something else.”
  6. Occupying time with activities that keep him/her from thinking about the negative aspects of his/her life.
  7. Using his/her obstacles as an excuse. “Don’t judge me; you don’t know what it’s like to try to deal with my life sober.”
  8. Accusing others instead of accepting responsibility. “This is your fault; you drove me to do this.”

Although his/her body may be hooked on the drug, his/her mind and emotions rely on the escape it offers. The danger associated with focusing solely on the physical part of the substance abuse is that he/she will choose a new distraction that could potentially be more harmful, or he/she could relapse altogether. By solving problems or learning to deal with them rationally, peace and confidence fill the void addiction once occupied. Once free from substance dependence, A New Beginning Ibogaine Treatment Center guides patients on the next step of their rehabilitation journey presenting three main keys:

  1. The power to overcome emotions instead of allowing them to overwhelm.
  2. The ability to calmly handle conversations and diffuse confrontation.
  3. The confidence to deal with tough situations without searching for a distraction or an escape.

These keys unlock the door that leads to mental and emotional independence. We continue to refer to these keys throughout your stay because we believe that practicing a technique repeatedly leads to a habit. When difficulty arises, using these keys will be second nature.

A New Beginning Ibogaine Treatment Detox

A detoxification plan that consists of filling a prescription for a few pills and hoping to feel better by next week is about as effective as trying to heal a gaping wound by placing a band-aid over it. Many symptoms of withdrawal can be almost unbearable and some can last for several months, if not years Ibogaine is known to be the most humane drug detox in the world. The patient will experience virtually no withdrawal and be done with his treatment between 24-36 hours. Ibogaine stays on the receptor sites for up to 6 months which stops all on going cravings.  A New Beginning’s  Ibogaine Treatment Detox has been designed to speed up the body’s recovery and get the patient back to feeling well as fast as possible. The aftermath of an Ibogaine Treatment is what many call “The Ibogaine Glow”. A New Beginning Detoxification Includes:

  1. Ibogaine Treatment Withdrawal Free Detox
  2. Natural supplements (minerals, oils, vitamins, etc.)
  3. Physical activity to get the blood flowing throughout the body
  4. Raw vegetables and organic food to keep patients’ meals well-balanced
  5. Doctor recommended detox hikes to sweat out any existing toxins.
  6. Electrolytes to rehydrate

Reclaim the Present Through Ibogaine

Today is called the “present” because it is a gift from your future. Since no one could ever maintain perfection for an entire lifetime, we are all haunted by the ghosts of our past. The purpose of Reclaiming the Present is to return the gift of today, which was once stolen from our patients by addiction, quieting voices and fears from the past, recovering the promise of wholeness offered by the future. Today doesn’t have to feel like yesterday.A common reaction to unpleasant, stressful parts of life is ignoring them. Substance abusers stuff pain, guilt, depression, etc. beneath their addiction. Once faced with something that triggers past memories, a patient in rehabilitation may find themselves searching for another escape without even understanding why. Many times when a patient returns home and has his/her first tough day after rehabilitation, the first thing they do is open the medicine cabinat. Old habits may die hard, but the old memories that drive them die even harder. Ibogaine in many ways helps patients learn to conquer their pasts instead of remaining victims of it. This is done best through counseling after Ibogaine. When we’re free from the shadows of our past, today will no longer feel like a repeat of yesterday. The hope of the future in the present outshines the darkness of the past. Once we realize that we hold the power to our present, the past (and the addictions we used to escape it) loses its grip on us.

“When there’s something to look forward to, there’s no reason to look back.”

A New Beginning’s Ibogaine Circle of Influence

It is also important for patients to realize the difference between a friend, a close friend, and an acquaintance. Many times with Ibogaine patients examine past relationships to distinguish the beneficial from the unhealthy, allowing them to protect themselves from influences that previously encouraged the substance abuse. Our counselor will assist in a plan to change the environment. Learn how friends and family can positively or negatively influence your continued recovery. Ideally, patients would reinsert themselves into their old  routine after treatment and everything would be worry-free. As ideal as that would be, it is unrealistic. While the patient has overcome his/her addiction after Ibogaine, the characters in his/her circle of influence may have continued to make self-destructive decisions or may be unsupportive of the changes in the patient’s life. Friends who are still struggling with addiction and family members who do not fully understand the need for rehabilitation are examples of influences that may need to be pushed to the outer part of the circle while the patient adjusts to life at home post-treatment. Another important aspect to deal with is learning how to repair relationships that were damaged prior to rehabilitation, so recovery can continue to take place in all areas of a patient’s life.

Discovering Individual Principles Through Our Ibogaine Program

One of the most destructive effects of addiction is isolation. The substance abuser becomes focused solely on his/her needs, neglecting obligations and sacrificing relationships. A New Beginning’s Individual Principle philosophy teach patients how to recover the principles that define them as individuals. Patients are guided to self-forgiveness, acceptance, and their own place in community. Our goal is to guide patients be able to free themselves from imprisoning isolation. This freedom allows them to fully embrace their true identities, their loved ones, and those in need around them. Actions speak louder than words.Broken promises and empty apologies are not as powerful as action for restoring confidence. When a patient learns to take ownership for every action, past, present, negative or positive, he/she will begin to live a life guided by personal principles. This will, in turn, begin to rebuild trust between the patient and those his/her action have affected and will affect. The idea behind unlocking your individual principles is the focus is on cause and effect. For example, if a woman chooses to drink and drive, then she is endangering everyone else on the road. Living responsibly is more than following rules; it involves remaining conscious of the well-being of ourselves and the well-being of others. Another part of the process is recovering time and resources from the addiction. Substance abusers often find themselves in a cycle where they disappoint someone by not having money to pay bills or time for activities that are important to loved ones. In order to numb the unpleasant emotions, they return to the addiction and the cycle continues. A New Beginning Ibogaine Treatment and Recovery Center believes this cycle can be broken through recognizing this cause and effect. We assist patients in recalling the causes of situations that led to addiction and finding solutions for future causes to avoid repeated effects. By defining his/her principles, a patient can loosen the chains of his/her past by choosing to live by their own moral compass. The benefits of this are endless. Among other benefits, we strive for patients to learn how to:

  1. Recognize that individual choices also have negative or positive consequences for loved ones and others in their life
  2. Restore the principles that define them in order to prevent letting themselves and others down
  3. Own up to their actions instead of being victims of circumstance
  4. Observe the advantages to living without the substance abuse
  5. Empower themselves to take ownership of their own choices with the encouragement of positive influences
  6. Accept self-forgiveness
  7. Focus on where they are going instead of where they have been

Having Resiliance After Ibogaine

Following the Individual Principles Seminars, Ibogaine’s Resiliency Training prepares students how to react to unfavorable circumstances by relying on their principles to guide them instead of returning to the addiction. Resilience is vital for thriving in an ever-changing world. Before experiencing A New Beginning, many patients express that their addiction began because of feelings caused by overwhelming situations. For us, resiliency  is how patients apply everything they learn throughout their stay. Resiliency is the difference between surviving and thriving. Addiction is born out of a basic human need to survive life’s many storms. But once we have learned how to deal with difficult conversations, emotions, and situations, we have the ability to do more than just survive. When we grab life by the horns instead of letting it drag us around, we will thrive. An empowered individual doesn’t need to reach for a bottle when he/she is confident that they can handle any situation life brings to the table.

“The power to affect our circumstances instead of being affected by them truly frees us when the rubber meets the road. A New Beginning’s patients leave with a fresh perspective, focused on the strengths they are able to offer the world.”

Our program allows patients to focus on their strengths and weaknesses, so they can begin to improve the aspects of their lives that created a desire for escape in the first place. Patients are presented with ways to successfully deal with life’s many challenges, while remaining in control of their emotions. Once he/she returns home, it is our goal that they are prepared to handle life. The individual gifts and strengths he/she possesses will begin to thrive in daily positive, healthy actions and reactions as the present turns into a beautiful future. Laying a solid foundation for our own principles is essential to coexist with society, have healthy relationships, and be proud of the decisions we make daily. Free from the addiction that caused so much destruction, patients are able to rebuild their lives and embrace their unique destinies. Former “addicts” become wonderful spouses, brilliant scientists, successful salespeople… some even go on to work in rehabilitation centers like A New Beginning, devoting their time to assist in freeing others from addiction.
